Bridge Closed
Until further notice, the connector bridge between the NJ and PA turnpikes is closed. Painters found a cracked truss beam on the PA side yesterday afternoon. No good alternate routes. Look for very increased traffic in area.

Last time I visited NYC (1998 as I recall) there was a closed bridge on the way home... However the closure was a tad more "Impressive" seems two fuel tankers had a disagreement over right of way and .. Well.. the bridge... Melted.

OK then it's the I-276 bridge, I was looking at the direct connection between I-76 and the Jersey Pike.

Bridge Closed
Update, bridge will be closed for at least 2 weeks while entire structure is evaluated. Fractured truss was under right westbound lane on Pennsylvania side. After evaluation, only then will a repair action take place.

You must pay to leave NJ.
