Bruce Woodbury Beltway around Las Vegas

Has anyone recently used the Woodbury Beltway (I215) to bypass Las Vegas? Road looks pretty good on Google Maps. Looks like it adds 15 miles or so to the trip but might be worth a try. I drive through there at least three times a year round trip (for last 40 years) and have long hated the congestion/construction on the 15. Long delays at times. Stressful conditions at anytime. Lots of speeders etc.

The 215 gets congested during commute times but otherwise is a great alternative.

The beltway is no better in some parts some parts its great. Just like the 15 there is always construction somewhere on the beltway. There are a lot of BAAAD drivers in vegas.

Google earth maps are ok but not always current they rotate pics some newer some older.

We live in Vegas and regularly drive the beltway. It actually does not have backups from construction and has been completed for quite a long time. It's a great people mover that circles the entire valley and helps to alleviate the congestion on the freeways.
