Bryce Canyon to Arches

The search function isn't working, so excuse the probably redundant post. We'a rented we've driven this route with a rental, but this time we'll be in a 38 foot my towing. How tough is this route?

Are talking about taking UT 12? If so, you should be fine if you take your time and don't look down.

Seriously, it's a gorgeous drive and the hogback was the only place that we were even slightly nervous and that was just because of reading what others had said. We didn't find it that bad. Maybe cause we had our eyes closed.... just kidding!

You'll be right at Capitol Reef NP and that's well worth a stop. Also if you have time, do the Fish Lake loop which is west of CRNP.

Your question is a bit garbled, but the least time and stress is to follow UT 12 to US 89 N to US 50 E I-70 E to US 191 S. that's 270 miles, 4 hr 12 min. To go by UT 62, 22, 62, 24, past Capitol Reef NP then north to I-70 E and US 191 S. it's only 259 miles but lots of hills, switchbacks and 40 minutes more travel time. Third route, from UT 24 go south on UT 95, past Natural Bridges National Monument, North on US 191, it's 360 miles and more than 7 hrs driving.

This is the recommended route. We've done it often. Have a good trip!

You will be missing some of the best scenery in North America if you don't drive Utah 12 from Bryce to Moab. Have traveled this route in a Class C, Diesel Pusher and car and never felt threatened. Take the hike to Lower Calf
Creek falls. Capital Reef is well worth a day or two.
