Bypass chattanooga, tn

Anyone driven Georga state highway 71 and Tenn. state highway 60 between Dalton, Ga and Cleveland, Tn? We are headed north from Florida and our GPS tells us to take this route.

We drive a 38 ft. diesel pusher and tow a dingy.

Thanks for your input.

Will not save you anytime. Best to hit Chattanooga around 10am for the quickest time. If you are in no hurry the 71 route is beautiful and shorter but takes longer.

trackman is right, shorter but not a time saver. By the time you get off I-75, over to Cleveland Hwy and back to I-75 you haven't gained. It is a good one to keep in mind if there is a backup in Chattanooga however.
