If that's the bridge I'm thinking of it is REALLY narrow. I remember crossing with a death grip on the wheel and a semi coming the other way. It looked like there was not enough clearance for both of us to pass and I was asking myself, should I run into the guard rail or clip his mirror? Miraculously, I didn't hit anything, but it was the closest I've ever come.

I've done it a number of times with a 33' Class A just as wide as yours (8.5') and have had no problems. I don't think the length will matter at all. Have a safe trip.

A lot off topic but if you are heading up to rt. 57 a good campground can be found at Rend Lake just north of Carbondale. We stayed there a couple years ago. I believe it is a COE campground.

It is narrow however the lanes are just as wide as a normal highway. What makes is appear narrower is that there is no room on the side. Here is a photo of two trucks passing each other on Hwy 51 (near Fort Defiance State Park). Just keep in your lane and you should be fine.

Ok "Been There Done That" I found the bridge to be good in my book. Not an issue. I find when ever the curbs are prominent like they are on this bridge, you can feel the tire touching the bridge before the steel.

I can offer a bridge that I feel is pretty hairy and that would be HY 90 east of NO. You will need Vaseline for that one..

Did you test this theory with your tires?

I think the bridge you are referring to is actually Hwy 60 and yes it is narrow! I met another camper there a couple years ago and he must have been really worried about clipping the bridge, his driver side wheels were ON the centerline. we didn't touch and I didn't clip my mirrors, but it was close! there is a picture on Google Earth from someone following a semi

Bumping the curb

I have been driving trucks all my life and bumping the curb is not a theory. Any bridge or dam curb you see that is set up this way has black marks on it from tires bumping it. I didn't have to on the 60, 51 or HY 3 Bridge as it seems very comfortable.
