If I remember right, it was just as you get on some really straight part of the road just before you come into Carmel. There was a line of 20 cars and I was the one right behind this lady in a small car. She was doing 30 and the posted speed was 55. There is a few stretches around there that you can see a few miles ahead. I am not a dangerous driver, the situation called for a pass. Everyone passed me within the next few miles, but I was not the problem.
There was another time I can sort of remember, but I can't remember the details right now. The lady in the small car really stuck in my brain.
With my class C and the car, I was probably less than 45ft total (32+12?=44ish). With the toy hauler I was probably less than 50ft (30+20=50). The northern part of the 1/101 that the original person was requesting info on - I can't remember anything that would stop me from driving anything up there. Maybe it's because I have driven the lower half and know my limits?
