20 from 5 to Clearlake not bad 20 to 101 roller coaster but doable. If you want take 12 just north of Stockton to Fairfield, then 80 west to 37 just east of vallejo. Then to old Lakewood rd to Petaluma and 101 . A much quicker and easer drive.

Hwy 20 is not my favorite route but it isn't bad. Last time I drove the MH thru there was a lot of construction which slowed things down. I am 39' plus the toad.

I just drove the MH and toad on Hwy 12 from Fairfield to Hwy 5 two weeks ago and it is in HORRIBLE condition, especially from Fairfield to Rio Vista. It was so bad I took 5 north to 80 on the return trip.

5 to 20 to 101 is very doable with a 32'er and a toad. I used 16 out of Woodland once (Costco for gas!) from 20 heading south. It worked also.
