A. continue south to Parkersburg, east on 50, south on I79, E on 33 or;
E on I70 to I79, south to 33, or;
E on I70 to I79, south to rt 250/119 to 33?

Just saw this post. Hopefully you haven't left yet .

I would take the #2 route. I think going down to Rt 50, & crossing over to I-79 would add about 30 mins over using I-70 to Wheeling & then to I-79. Unless you like winding roads, Rt 33 all the way from I-79 is a better choice. It's a fairly new 4-lane for most of the route.

Thanks for the info. We are going next week.
Mileage wise, I think A and B are about the same. So probably go over 70 and down 79 to 33. That is good news about 33 being in decent shape.
