Canyon, TX to Las Cruces, NM

We are planning to go from Canyon to Las Cruces in early November. What can you tell me about US 60 and US 70? Weather to expect, 2 lane or 4 lane, major construction delays, etc? Has anyone stayed at Town & Country RV in Roswell? Thanks for any advice or suggestions?

You'll have no problems....four-lane most of the way, the two-lanes are good though. Stayed at that park in Roswell, it's fine. Newer section in the back lot, much nicer than the older part of the park. Easy in and out, plenty of room to move around. Watch out for the aliens though, they come out at night!!

Thanks. I am looking forward to that part of our trip as I really prefer the older four lane highways to the Interstates.
