I am interested in seeing some sights and maybe doing a little fishing, I am not concerned about catching a prize or anything.
I have looked online and found a few light houses in the area, something about some wild horses on an island, a ferry ride, the Wright brothers stuff, etc. I am excited about those things, but, anything outside of those things that I should make an effort to see?

Camp Hatteras Resort/RV park: Nice campground. Everything is not fully functioning yet, but the sites are level and pretty spacious. Management is friendly. Everything on their website looks to be an accurate description. Nice amenities.

Still not many resturants nearby that are open and even when they all open selection is maybe 4 sit down type that I have seen. The rest are either pizza/sandwiches/burgers. 30-40 minute drive each way to Nags Head to find other resturants.

Beach access from campground is pretty difficult. Some more stairs or a ramp down to the beach would be very helpful. Not sure if there are restrictions on building that or what but it is tough going to the beach.
