Cape May NJ to Front Royal VA

Looking for a good route from Cape May NJ to Front Royal VA in a Class A. Low stress would be great. Any ideas?

Man, talk about a route that ONLY gives you stress! There's no way around it!

Take 9/347/55/40 to the Del. Memorial Bridge and get on I-95 S. Bring your EZ-Pass. Fill up at the Flying J at Exit 100 in MD so you have plenty of room (less stress...).

Loop around Baltimore on the north side (Towson side) on 695 so you avoid any issues with the tunnel. More miles but less hassle.

Turn off on I-70 and take that to Rt. 340 which will lead you right into Front Royal.

Make sure you have breakfast at L'Dees while in Front Royal!

Thanks RV There, we just drove the GSP and man, south of exit 91, bad road! NASCAR in construction area! We will be in Cape May for a couple of days and then heading to Front Royal. The ferry doesn't sense?

There is just no simple way to get from CM to Front Royal, VA, unless you use a hot air balloon.

The only way the CM-Lewes Ferry makes sense is if you take 9 from Lewes over to 13, 13 down to 50 then 50 up to the Bay Bridge over to Annapolis, then the southern loop of 495 around through Alexandria and all the way around to I-66 over to Front Royal.

If it were me, I'd change my plans...
