Red face Casa Grande to Show Low, via Globe

We are planning to drive from Casa Grande to Show Low, AZ via Globe this Sunday. We are a 39' Winnebago Adventurer with a Ford Flex toad. Reading the previous posts it sounds like the route will be fine, but I'd like to hear from those who have taken the route. Any comments? Thanks!

Since you have already traveled this route, my input isn't worth much, but unless you had a purpose for going through Globe, in my opinion the route through Payson is less stressful. I have driven both by car many times, but when I use the RV, only through Payson for me.

Photos Globe to Show Low AZ

Just wanted to leave a link for photos of Highway 77, heading NE between Globe and Show Low, AZ. We managed the drive just fine, took it slow in 3rd gear using grade brake. Stunning scenery.
