Chicago to Fort Worth

Making a dash to put the motorhome to bed on thursday before flying back to OZ.
Going via Springfield Il then
Asking for advice either via Memphis or Oklahoma city.
What are the better roads and scenery

I'v been both ways many times, I like memphis route better although a little longer, most road const. near oklahoma city was complete when I went thru in march, going Oklahoma way you have rt 66, going memphis way you get the blues. I'm sure others have more info on roads, but as I remember both were fine a few months ago.

I'd rather go via Oklahoma as I've done Dallas Memphis Asheville twice now ( not bad for an Aussie)
So thanks for the advice
I'll be going Tulsa Oklahoma

To finish this thread. I'm on my way to Memphis 100 miles south of st Louis
I chickened out based on the forecast for potential tornadoes and baseball size hail crossing I 44 west of st Louis
So I'm on I 55 dry and no dents - I guess that's a good thing.
