seems there was a typo on website or misinformation - I did call Alex at the ranger station and he advised 50' , so okay with 45'.

Why would you not go back to Zion? I have found to be extraordinarily beautiful. It is a hiker's paradise.

Yes, Zion is beautiful, but we don't have a infinite amount of time, and we think that Cedar Breaks, and Bryce Canyon, and Capitol Reef are all even more beautiful than Zion. They too are great places to hike.

recent Zion tunnel update

just got back from 40 day trip - slow and easy down the middle of the Tunnel. I only used it one way leaving the park but the pass is good for both ways. it doesn't look like i'll fit in this photo due to the angle but 45' and 12'10" tall - didn't have any problem at all. I highly recommend Zion and staying at Watchman if you can - what a great experience. One of the hosts at the park is an IRV2'er also . He saw me coming into Watchman and said " I know you!!" from irv2 . small world !!!

When I exited there were a lot of people held up obviously on the other side (probably 40 people in line) but got cheers and applauses when I exited. Kinda funny - maybe they were applauding so they could all get back in their cars and go thru - I took it as a success applause
