DrDaveCA Senior Member Alpine Owners Club Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Cornelius, NC Posts: 206	Fastest straight down I-81 to I-77 then to I-74, but that is BORING. US29 is pretty decent road from Charlotteville, VA to Greensboro, NC then it is just a short hop on I-40 to Winston-Salem/Clemmons, but it is HOT (close to 100 in Charlotte today).
