Coeur d'Alene, ID to Yuma, AZ US 95?

We plan on leaving Coeur d'Alene, ID approximately October 1 heading to Yuma, AZ. Hope to arrive in Yuma November 1, we like to enjoy the journey We much prefer to travel the roads-less-traveled so we're considering US 95. Any thoughts, suggestions or alternatives? Don't know if weather/snow will be a concern at that time.

You shouldn't have any snow issues during October. It's a beautiful, relaxing drive. We've done it with our 40' MH in both directions. Enjoy!

I drove that route many times back in the 80s hauling produce in an 18 wheeler. It's good road and a beautiful view. I've been down parts of it since then but not in trucks-only for my own entertainment.
