I wish I could figure out how to embed google maps into my post. The best I could do is provide this link to my proposed route. Cheyenne Mountain State Park to Vail, CO - Google Maps I need to travel between Colorado Springs and Vail. Is Co 24 a safe route for a large pusher with toad?

I lived there for 13 years.

Take I-25 North to I-470 West to I-70 West and straight to Vail.

I just got back from Cheyenne Mnt State Park last Friday. I was parked in site # 2 and site #16 for a week. The Park is all new (totally funded by Lottery money) and very nice.

An excellent alternate route is to take Highway 24 up through Woodland Park CO. to 9 North at Hartsel town... Easy drive,,, excellent road to Breckenridge to I-70 to Vail.

This was the route that I was planning. Thanks for reassuring me that I will not have any problems with this plan.
