We just passed through the area last week. Texas has some construction west of Amarillo. If I recall, most of the construction closure (one lane) was on the west bound side. Speeds were marked at 45 MPH. New Mexico I'm not sure of. Arizona was wide open.

Tom & Patty, thanks for the reply. RV.Net had some info on New Mexico I-40. It looks like both construction and weather are concerns going thru NM on I-40. I may consider I-10 all the way to Phoenix. Thanks! Glenn.
