Anyone traveled from Cedar City, Utah to Bryce Canyon on state rd 14 hows the climb and any severe switchbacks.

We've driven this road without a problem, but there are some 8% grades and 25 MPH curves (best to get a copy of the Mountain Directory West if you're going to do any amount of driving in the mountainous West).
It's a beautiful drive, though. If you go this way, be sure to stop at the Zion Overlook where you can see the northern portion of Zion National Park. And, if you have the time, visit Cedar Breaks National Monument, sort of a mini Bryce.
We camped at Duck Creek Campground, but checked out several boondocking areas along the road where we'll probably stay the next time we travel this way.

Rick & Carol,
As you can see, we have a MH similar to yours. Three years ago we travelled this route from Bryce to Cedar City. The climb up took a while at maybe 35 - 40 mph, but did not cause any undue concern, as I recall.
Think about stopping at the crest to visit Cedar Breaks Nat'l Mon. You could make it up to and through the main parking lot but if it is busy may have a tight squeeze. Just off SR 14 is a large enough parking area for the rig. I'd unhook and drive the toad the two miles or so to the Visitor's Center.
AS Mountain Directory West says, the eastern side is somewhat more gradual than the western side, though both have 8% grades. On the trip down toward I-15 I had the Allison in 2nd gear for quite a way. It held me very comfortably at 40 Mph/4,000 Rpm with an ocassional stab on the brakes.
In summary, as when travelling in any mountainous terrain, descend in the gear used to ascend.
I think you'll do just fine. It was a workout for the Suncruiser but it handled it just as advertised.
That final descent to I-15 was the last leg of a great section of the trip using Utah SR 12/14. One of our more memorable travels. Loved the "Hog Back" on SR 12!

Thanks for the post, where does one get a copy of the Mountain Directory West sounds like something I might need. From the sounds of your post you were traveling east to west. We are preparing to go into Colorado, then home to Atlanta. Our trip to this point has been uneventful and have enjoyed every minute, we are still trying to decide wheather to full time or not. Any other tips.

We live in Idaho and drive our RV through the mountains all the time and wouldn't be without the Mountain Directory West. We purchased ours on Amazon.com and I just checked and they have some listed for around $16 plus shipping.

We've traveled from Bryce to Cedar City --- and those indicating the scenery is spectacular are correct! Great route.

Let me recommend to everyone to maybe "travel" the route via the satellite view at Google Maps
It may save you from some of those "OOPS - what am I doing on this road" instances...

Google Maps and Earth are great. They really give you a whole new perspective of a proposed route. Saved me several times from taking a bad route.
