Dallas to Fiddlers Cove Silver Strand CA

Will be traveling to Imperial Beach/Coronado California in March in a 40ft MH with toad. Any suggestions as to route when we reach the San Diego area?

There are 2 ways to get to Fiddlers cove from San Diego. The easiest way if you're towing a car is to go south on the 5 fwy to Palm Ave. Exit the s/b 5 on Palm Ave, turn right which is west and stay in the right line. The road will naturally transition and you'll be heading north on the Strand. Look for LEYTE Rd. which is marked. Travel north to the first street north of Leyte Rd and turn right then another right and you're there.

You can also go across the Coronado bridge but there's a lot of traffic and it's much easier to go the way I suggested.
If you have Google Earth you can search for Fiddlers Cove, Coronado and visually see what I'm suggesting.

Thanks, that is the route I was looking at. Haven't been there in 50 years.

FYI and I'm sure you know this but Fiddlers Cove is a military RV park the requirements for entry require that you be Active, National Guard, Reservists, Retired, 100% DAV, DoD civilians

GPS will usually route me from 8 to 94 to the 5. It is fine.

Go to Palm/75 as stated. I would not suggest the bridge.
