Dallas to niagara via boston

I'M planning our trip from Dallas to the coast then Washington New York Boston Niagara Falls Chicago and return.
I've booked the northern campgrounds but havent planned a route.
1. Dallas to Charlston via gulf or gatlinburg
2. Out around Port Hatteras?
3. Boston to Niagara - where to overnight
4. Niagara to Chicago same
This trip starts march 12 and gets to Washington 3rd April where we are joined for just 2 weeks to finish in Chicago then 2 weeks back

I' d be interested in routing views at this time of year

#2, If you mean Cape Hatteras and the Outer Banks of NC, there is no super easy way to get there, but it is well worth the trip. Only two ways off and on the OBs. Hatteras KOA, Ocean Waves, Camp Hatteras are good bets for camping. OuterBanks
#3. While in Boston, there are some alternatives - Boston Minuteman in Littleton MA.. Normandy Farms in Foxboro.
On the trip west, with the time you have I would think you would want to take the MA Pike and NY Thruway. We live in central MA and when we go to Niagara area, we stay at the Villages at Turning Stone in Verona, NY. It is one of the nicest campgrounds we have visited. There a number of places around Niagara Falls - I personally like the options on the Canadian side a little better.
Have a great trip - you are going through some wonderful areas steeped in history and natural beauty.

If your concerned with road conditions due to weather, I don't think you'll have any problems--"at this time of year".

If thats not what you're asking then can you be more specific. BTW, we spent several weeks in upstate NY last summer and it was great.

x2 on Turning Stone.

We travel from Texas to Central MA, and back. Coming back we stay at Turning Stone. We stay in Gasport, NY, (Niagara Heartland RV Park). May be not the greatest, but with Passport America prices at less than $20 a night, it suits our several day stay in that area. The ride to Niagara is 20-30 miles and if you go up to the Lake O, it is a nice easy ride. I don't have any suggestions for MA as I stay in my brother's driveway.

We have booked Cherry Hills in Washington Liberty Harbour in NY Normandy Farms in Boston, KOA in Niagara Ontario. I am panicking a little as I suspect my travel time coincides with snow birds returning north from Winter.
Coincidently last night I discovered Turning Stone in Verona and I'm glad we now have a recommendation. I'll write to book now.
I'll also book the outer banks.

I have the following directions onto the Outer banks. Are they suitable for 40Ft motor home and toad and does this route get me to my destination - Washington
Directions to Outer Banks from Wilmington. From US 17 North take state route NC24 until it runs into I 70 (before Morehead city) Follow US 70 from Morehead City to state route NC 12 and the Cedar Island ferry. Take toll ferry to Ocracoke Island. Then NC 12 to Hatteras Island Ferry

Re: Routing I was wondering, Dallas to Wilmington, whether I should go via Memphis, Nashville, Gatlinburg etc (which we recently did and loved) or should go via the gulf.
