Denver to Steamboat Lake SP, Co.

This June want to make this leg as we head west. Can anyone give me the best route? I am looking at I-70 to 9 to 40 to 129. Towing a vue behind my Phaeton ISC 360. Esp. Concerned about rabbit ear pass and other hills.

There is not really anyother options. Dirven that route many times in car, but shouldn't be very hard in motorhome, just take it easy ans slow.

Thanks for the info. Only other way I was looking at was staying on I-70 until Rt. 13.

Have you also driven to the Grand Teton's from Steamboat Lake?

I drove from the Tetons to Steamboat Lake State Park last summer. Whatever route you decide go back thru Steamboat. Do not make a left and over the mountain no matter what your GPS may say.
