Actually, you don't drive through Bryce...you drive to the parking area on the rim, and hike.

Road access is no problem...

Ron & Kerrie, I haven't driven my MH through Bryce Canyon but we have driven our car through it and it is a beautiful drive. We have done both Zion and Bryce, one or both of them have shuttles during the summer months so you park and then get on the shuttle, and one of the parks has a tunnel you drive through to the next National Park, I think it's Zion to Bryce, but I can't remember which one. You could always go back the way you came in. When we drove through Bryce we saw several MH's parked at the parking areas for the different trailheads, and there was plenty of room(during early May)....Mike

As mentioned, you don't drive "through" Bryce Canyon as there is no road "through" Bryce Canyon. You can, however, drive to the little town where there is an RV park (Ruby's). You can then either take your car to the trail heads, or the shuttle.

The Highway to Bryce is a good one. Not a problem for a large mh. However, as mentioned above, if you come through Zion first, there is a tunnel that you have to go through and they have a small fee for the MHs. You have to disconnect your toad and drive it separately.

Great place to visit.

Ron

ps the possessive form of "they" is "their"....not there.

I think the parking areas at Bryce could be a problem for larger RVs. But the shuttle is really quite good and runs frequently to/from Ruby's RV park and stops at all the sights along the rim. If you are in reasonably good shape, I strongly recommend a hike into the canyon. The easier ones can be done in a little more than an hour, and really are better than just seeing it from the road.

We went from Zion to the North Rim and didn't have to unhook the toad when we went through the tunnel.

I agree that parking might be an issue in an MH at the overlooks at Bryce. We didn't take the shuttles because we had our pups with us but the shuttles seem so convenient!

I did the trail ride down into the canyon and had a great time. Looking down into the canyon is gorgeous but looking UP is just amazing.
