El Paso to Vernal Ut

We are heading from Fort Bliss(El Paso) and heading to Dutch John just above Vernal UT. The computer take us up I-25,I-40,to Gallup, then up US 491 to US 191. Has anyone been up this trail? It is always nice to know that someone has gone before you. It looks a little desolate in places which is ok as long as I have enough fuel. Any must see stops (restaurants, tourist stops or campgrounds) along the way?

That's a very easy drive. You'll be going past some nice national parks in southern Utah. If you have time, stop and enjoy them - Canyonlands/Arches. Once you get to Vernal you're going to have a climb to get to Dutch John. Many RVers drive it but just a heads up. You know your vehicle better than anyone. Have a good one.
