Planning on traveling in late May or early June from Texas and probably will take Colo 9 from 285 into Breckenridge. Our first time on this route. Has anybody gone that way, and if so, any concerns?

Beautiful route! Should be gorgeous in the spring with the mountain flowers. It is a bit steep but well paved and you should have no problems. Watch the weather though. This is Colorado and it can snow in the mountains just about anytime.
