Flagstaff to Cottonwood

Will be traveling from Albuquerque to Cottonwood, AZ the second week in October. What's the best route from Flagstaff down to Cottonwood. I've already been told to stay off 89A. We're driving a 37' DP with a STurn Aura toad.

Take I 17 From Flag directly to the Cottonwood exit. Very short drive.

Yup,..I-17 South from Flagstaff to Exit 293 and right (West) into Cottonwood. Then use toad or tow vehicle to tour around, ie., Sedona, Prescott, and Jerome. Oh,...try out the Haunted Hamburger in Jerome and particularly the OUTSTANDING Choclolate Cake.

There is an 11 mile downgrade of 6% going to Camp Verde.
