Florida bound

DW and I are planning a trip south to Florida in late March. We will be leaving from So. Indiana and heading to the Destin area. Any suggestions on route would be appreciated.

We live about 70 miles NE of Evansville. Many years ago we decided the best route, based on weather, mountains, and driving ease, is I 69S, to I 24E, I 65S to Montgomery AL to I 85E, to US 231S bypass, to I 10. Do not go to the SW side of Montgomery to get to US 231, It's about 5 miles of stoplights about 3 blocks apart. You'll be on 4-lane all the way, but US 231 does pass through several small towns, a few quite congested at times.
If your timing gets you to Dothan in the evening, Camping World of Dothan has about 6 W&E overnight sites with a dump station. Just go inside and ask first.

Welcome fellow Hoosier

Ray, thank you very much. DW and I have traveled this route before. We were just checking to see if this route was the best. We live in Jasper Ind.
