Fort Bragg to Bodega Bay

Can I take the PCH to Bodega from Fort Bragg? Or do I need to take 20 back out to 101 and 116 or Bodgea Hwy back in. I'm pulling a 34' BH FW with a F350.

Take the 20 to 101 then 116 to bodega. If you try to take your rig on 1 you will wish you didn't. Been to both places many times.

I don't remember the stretch of 1 from Bodega Bay to Fort Bragg as being problematic at all. From Leggett to Fort Bragg I'd strongly caution against as I would Bodega Bay into SF.

We just did HW1 and 101 all the way from SF to the OR- Washington border staying as close to the Pacific as we could. 30' TT and a CC F350. No problem. Of course it depends on how comfortable you are towing, it's definitely not a route for a newbie. Travel on weekdays to avoid some of the traffic.
