Fort Myers to Ottawa
Monday Nov 4th my wife and I will be leaving Fort Myers FL and heading to Ottawa Canada. I was wondering what road and weather conditions have been. We're going I-75 to I-95 to I-26 the I-77 to I-81 up through Syracuse.

Hi,
Why not stay on I-75 to I-81 and follow that all the way up to Syracuse? That way you won't have as many trucks as there are on I-95.

Thank you. I know it's not the correct site, but I'm not sure where to post my question. Sounds good that we're not traveling any of these roads. We've made this route many times where we are going, my concern is since the storm Sandy went through and with the weather getting colder, what this route is going to be like.
I guess my wife and I must be reverse Snow Birds. I'm sure we'll be the only Newmar towing heading north to Canada in November and then the only one heading south the end of the month.

Thanks for that suggestion. I think we'll do that on our way back. It's about 270 miles further (adds up) and we're only on 95 till we reach 26 which is South Carolina.
But again, thanks and we're going to come home that way, weather permitting!!!

If you want to save even more miles map quest it and take 75 to 27/301 up to I-10.

That's the route we're on, thanks... We stayed in Stark at the KOA last night, work up to the sound of rain and I just finished my outside water and tank chores. Now we're heading north to I-10 to 295 around Jax and driving till...
