whats the best way to go to universal while staying at fort wilderness? headin there in january but want to go to universal 3 days while at FW. any thoughts?

Drive your toad ? Disney buses won't take you to Universal will they ? Probably not....I could be wrong....

See if the free Disney bus service will take you from Ft Wilderness to Downtown Disney.....then get the taxi from there. Downtown Disney gets you closer to Universal,
and maybe makes the taxi ride cheaper that way......

Doesn't hurt to ask.

Mears buses runs a shuttle from Disney to universal daily ending at about10 a.m. returning back to Disney starting at 4 p.m. or so. Round trip voucher cost is $20 per person. Check with campground to see where Mears picks up. You may b Ave to go to another resort within Disney to catch this shuttle. Again its operated by Mears Transportation. Hope this helps.

Check with customer service at FW, then catch the Disney Bus to the nearest route closest to International Drive South end or somewhere nearer Seaworld, Mall areas. There's tons of regular buses from there to and from Lynx I think they were called?

By choice we always check Hotwire.com and get a cheap hire car, been as low as $9 per day depending and we really love the convenience of having a vehicle for a few days when in a built up area. I just googled on Hotwire and was quoted C$17.42 based on 3 days from Noon Mon 10th Nov to 13th 11am drop off.
