Fremont, CA to Grand Rapids, MI

We might need to take a fast trip from Fremont to Grand Rapids to pick up a new RV. We aren't really fond of mountain passes and at this time of year there will still be snow. Can anyone help in finding a route?
Thanks,

Lisa

Looking at a map I think I'd just take my chances and take I-80 east. Your only alternative is to swing way out of your way to the south and take I-40 or I-10.

Avoid the passes early in the morning or late at night, if you must. The good thing about snow this time of year is that it usually won't survive much past 9 or 10 AM and the freeway being well and constantly traveled helps too.

I assume you're headed to "our" dealer, Midway? Whacha gettin'?

I agree using I-80 is your best choice. Leave now, no snow.

We are making the final decision, Midway is offering a good deal on a 2016 Canyon Star 3755.
Problem is we are here for Doctor's appointments so we will see if we can figure it out.
