We are leaving July 5th for Forest City, Iowa from Fresno, CA. We are going to the GNR RV meet there. Can anyone give some tips on which way to go there and what sightseeing might be of interest along the way. I do know it will be hot both here and there, but excited about the trip.

HERE is a map supplied by Winnebago of the Forest City surrounding area....
HERE is a map of the Winnebago Industries "campus" depicting where various Winnebago facilities are located.
HERE is even a link to a forum topic by John Canfield in "log" form,as he discusses his (and mine) experience with having service performed in Forest City.

Go see the Grotto of the Redemption, it is about 60 miles from FC near West Bend. IA

Thanks to all who posted info on our trip to Forest City, Iowa. Roadside America had some great links and the maps are great, and very excited about seeing the Grotto of Redemption. Again, thanks very much
