From Saint Louis Mo to Cedar Rapids Ia

Looking at US 61 from St Louis to Cedar Rapids early April. Is this a decent route for a class A / with toad? Wife wants to know if it's really crooked, two lane all the way? Is interstate 55/74/80 a better route? Comfort is important. Thanks in advance!!

It's a wonderful route and a pleasure to drive in the Class A. It's called the Avenue Of The Saints and is 4 lane all the way. You have a couple of traffic lights in Hannibal Mo. but that's it until Cedar Rapids. After you cross I-80 in Iowa the route turns into I-380 into CR. I have traveled it many times before and enjoyed it every time. I think you will too.

Don't take her any further west if she doesn't like crooked.
