Garden State Pkwy ????

Can you travel the Garden State Pkwy in NJ with the motorhome ??? .......If so........any recomondations for travel route and campgrounds traveling north out of MD ...... Our final destination will be Long Island NY

Yes, however, STAY IN THE MIDDLE LANES.

We stayed at the KOA just north of Carneys Point. Not cheap but there were no surprises either. And they had free waffles and coffe in the morning.

Where is Carneys Point .......NJ ? I was not aware of any KOA's in NJ..........

12'-6", no problem (in the middle lanes). Stay off the side lanes.

Carneys Point is on the south end just as you come into NJ on 95. Flying J and Valero stations.

Ooops, Sorry, Timberlane in Clarksboro NJ is not a KOA. My mistake. Senior moment. Be very careful on reservations there. We called ahead for a pull through for a 40'MH. When we pulled in, she said, Well, I THINK you can fit there. NOT...
LOW BRANCHES EVERYWHERE. Better park for a TT than a MH. Watch your paint!

Ok.......thats why I wanted to cut over to the Garden State Pkwy.......to avoid Clarksboro.......looks like there's more campgrounds to choose from on the east side of Jersey...............

We are headed north out of Maryland ( Tuesday ).......and will try to cut across to the GSP......once we enter the state.
