Evening,
Traveled I-16 East bound from Macon Georgia to Savannah last Sat. and wow is it rough. Sections just about shook us apart.
Have to return back home that direction this coming Sat. but dread driving I-16 West bound.
Can anyone suggest an alternative route that they've driven lately.
How about I-20 between Augusta and Atlanta?
Appreciate any info.

I-20 is about the only option unless you want to go all backroads, but that could be risky, you never know if there will be low or extremely narrow passageways... It's been a while since I've been on I-20 between Atlanta and I95, but it used to be a fairly good ride. I do travel I-20 west of Atlanta on a pretty regular basis and it's a smooth ride...
