Going east to west thru Austin, asking 4 suggestions.

Going east to west thru Austin, asking 4 suggestions.
Google says hwy 71 to hwy 183!
I don't care of doing that route and asking other RVer's suggestion.
Oh yeah I don't have GPS.

Thanks every one.

STOP at Franklins for some Barbeque. You just gotta.

Or The Salt Lick.

Unless you've vegetarians, of course.

We do not know were you are going or where you are coming from. The intersection of 71 and 183 is on the south east side of Austin, continue on 71 and you will be on the south west side. Do you have a map?

71 to 183 is the quickest way to get through. Why are you avoiding this route?

I guess because I don't know it and was trying to find out more info.
Also saw where it's part toll road. I have never been thru Austin except in a car and interstate hwy.

Stay on 71 going west to 290 and then up 281 to the park. I would not want to go through Austin either. This would about 5 miles farther.

Your's and targaboat sounds like another good route. Hwy 290 seems a good way just figured I still had to get into Austin..
