GPS problem on April 6, 2019

Any one have any concerns over this?

https://www.thebrasseffect.com/2019/...-on-april-6th/

I have a relatively new Garmin 770 - doubt there will be a problem with that but also have 3 older units (3 Garmin and 1 in a car) that could be exposed.

Thanks

I expect to see the same problems that we saw with Y2K but I can't remember what they were.

I think it will be only older GPS units that have not been updated.

I'd just settle for any date that start with 19...

I wonder how my brother will get out of his driveway! He programs two of the damn things to go someplace he has been to hundreds of times, church, sister, work.

He picked me up a few weeks ago to go to our sisters and backs out of my drive, stops in the middle of the street to program them. "Wasn't sure what way to turn," he just came that way. "We will be there in 14 minuets," he proclaims.

Get on freeway, which is a merge/exit lane. He is farting around with one of them and fails to change lanes. Starts to cut off a loaded dump truck and I see my life past before my eyes. I tell him to take Canyon instead, ends up same place. "Oh yeah." Mind you this is with two miles of his house and some place he travels often.

We get about five minuets from sis's house and I call to tell her when we will be there. "I don't understand, it took us four minuets longer to get here than it said." I reminded he took the surface street. "Oh, I forgot."

Trip home was about the same.

St. Who ever was working overtime the whole trip.

Talking with sis she just says when ever she get in car with him she always wonders what hospital she is going to end up at. "I just say a prayer and close my eyes."
