Just 'thinking', if it is worth to drive through Walcott, IA on my "Great Circle" Tour this summer to stop at TA 80 in Walcott, IA ?
Tour: Vancouver - St. Louis, MO - Nappanee, IN - Austin, TX - El Paso, TX - Williams, AZ - GC - Teton / YS - back to Vancouver.

We had MUCH rather find a way to visit Wall, SD than a big truck stop. Also, it looks to be "on the way" rather than having to detour.
Wall, SD = Wall Drug Store which is 3-4 city blocks - now that's big!

TW: Since you will be leaving YS there is Devils Tower in NE Wyoming, Rushmore in Rapid City SD, AND Wall Drug just down the road. Gotta see Wall to believe it and if you come in from the west it's easy access to parking and less than a block away from downtown.
You can then get the famous Wall Drug bumper sticker.

The best part of Wall Drug is the old photographs on display way back on the back walls near the big dinosaur ...

Don't miss the photos ...
