I found a site that is from the US Department of Transportation that lists some short 200 + drives around the nation, it lists some places to stop gives you the miles, camping areas (they are partial to the govt parks)
I have taken two of the trips and the info in the book they offer (Free) to be dead on.
We did the Idaho to Canada Loop and really saw some great sites and met some very nice people.

Try it the book is free and you will really enjoy it.

Frank
I haven't heard anymore from Jack about it.
I think it turned into a wash, because everyone had to work and did'nt have the vacation time.
Still think the three of us could get together, after the kids go back to school and we could find a place up north of here ,I'm south, Jacks in the middle and you are up north.
