Just reading this post. I think TDOT has a sign posted now at both ends of the Dragon on 129 that restrict any vehicle over 30 feet in length overall. I was checking a route to Cherokee the other day and saw the sign while driving on 129. Sorry for being late with this post.

Wife and I rode the motorcycle on the Dragoon several years ago. Got to the top and she said " I do not wan t to ride that road again." I said we have to get down off the mountain.
