I am looking for the best route to take to get from the Harrisburg, PA area(Dillsburg, about 15 mi south of Harrisburg) to Chincoteague, VA. I would prefer to avoid Baltimore and the Bay Bridge in Annapolis if possible. The weekend beach traffic can be horrible. Thanks for any input!

From Central PA I usually take US 322, PA 283, US 30, US40, DE 7, DE 1, US 113. DE 1 is a toll road but bypassing Dover is worth it. US 30 you should be familiar with but still better than Baltimore and the Bay Bridge on US 50. You may know a better way from your locations to DE 1.
