Harrisonberg VA to Sea Isle City NJ

Hello

We want to get to Sea Isle City NJ from Harrisonberg VA, I tried Rand Mc Nally directions and it seemed to take me to far north, thru DC and to Phila. I was looking on a VA & MD maps, I can head towards Annapolis and the Eastern shore and to Lewes DE, and take the ferry to Cape May NJ.
Any help would be appreciated, Thank you

Rand shows the fastest route. The Ferry is the best way to go, will need to plan around rush hour and the city areas!
