Heading into WV - Monongahela/Seneca Rocks

Going to be coming in from 66w out of DC, Interested in finding out what the most Travel Trailer friendly path might be to get back that way.

I've been out to Snowshoe before through GWNF, but not towing a trailer and the switchbacks were not for the faint of heart. I can't imagine pulling a trailer through there. What are my options heading out to Seneca rocks?

Looking at the google maps path, it looks like 55 is the way to go coming in from Strasburg, VA as it runs along the river valley from Petersburg.

Just returned from Seneca Rocks to Waynesboro Va in mid Aug. my buddy's F250 diesel pulling a 20 TT. I believe we did Rt 33 into Harrisonburg all the way. It was fine pulling ( and he is a lead foot and I am nervous passenger)

Make sure you go up onto Dolly Sods and walk the rock outcrops!! Awesome views and geology!
