Unfortunately, Eastern WA is a major problem area right now. Several wildfires have joined up and the total area on fire is close to the size of Rhode Island! Smoke is a major issue - we've even had some blow all the way over to Anacortes. It cleared away today when the wind direction changed.

Here in the Yakima Valley there is a fine coat of ash on everything, and a sunny day, isn't.

We have smoke here in Calgary from the Washington fires. I could barely see the city skyline.
