Highway 12 Salt Lake City to Grand Staircase Escalante?

Hello,
Anyone drive a 45' Class A with a toad on Hwy 12 through Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument? Good Sam Trip Planner indicates no problems. It is usually good at pointing out low bridges and other route issues.

My route is Salt Lake City Utah to Escalante Utah, Hwy 15 to 28, then to 12. Relatively short trip.

Would like to hear your experiences.

Tobias

there are no bridges on Hwy 12 to worry about .... there are no hairpin curves that are difficult to negotiate ... there are a couple of grades that will cause some black smoke to come from your exhaust but nothing that your rig can not handle.

It is a beautiful drive.

While you are in the area don't forget Capital Reef and Goblin State Park

Good advice, also, Kodachrome and Bryce, just a Beautiful drive/ares to go.

Meant to say Highway 12, not 29.
