Hope all CO campers bugged out early today...

It was a beautiful sunny Saturday, shorts and a tee shirt, people playing in the lake almost 80 degrees... seems that the weather has made a bit of a change today. It is now snowing like crazy, the temp is dropping by the minute, now down to 32. Weather says 6-10" along the Front Range south of Denver and well over a foot in the mountains.

Happy Mothers Day to all you Mom's and hope everyone makes it home safely.

Sound like the storm that brought snow to nearly all of Alberta , yesterday , got around Customs & Immigration non-stop. Must have had a US Passport from when it left Alaska .

1:50p here on the western slope of Colorado (7,500' level). We received over 8" of snow ( very wet) last night and it has been snowing all day. Temps in the upper 20s and lower 30s. Denver looks like it is getting hammered. Have the 5er parked out front to do work on it but that is not going to happen until it thaws a bit.

TV showed we were at 105% of average water in the Grand Mesa area before this storm. If this keeps up we will be able to fill Lake Powell.

Suppose to be in the mid 70s by Friday. Spring time in the Rockies!
