The Glen Canyon half day rafting trip I linked to is very smooth deep water, peaceful rafting trip if that makes a difference, also the rafts are large as you can see in the photo. The current moves along at a brisk pace, so much of it is actually floating, though the guide does start the engine and power along through some sections.
