Anyone traveled from Hurricane, UT to Flagstaff via hwy 89? Good roads? Any major climbs or winding sections? We drive a 41' diesel pusher towing a Saturn Vue. Ultimately we want to end up in Casa Grande, AZ. So even though it's a bit longer, we could go through Vegas and then down to the Phoenix area if it's a better route. Opinions?

We did that run last year. No problems at all. You can see where we stopped on this map. Stops 44, 45, 46.

The only problem going the Vegas route is crossing the dam as I understand there can be lengthy delays due to construction and vehicle inspections. Also some rather sharp curves descending to the dam on the NV side and a couple or so on the AZ side of the dam but not all that bad. If you do take the Vegas route, be sure to spend a nights or so as our economy needs all the help it can get---LOL

Enjoy and have a safe trouble free journey,
