DON'T DO IT. We did it several years ago with a Ridgeline towing a 17' trailer. It was narrow with windy, hair pin turns. White knuckle all the way. There is no way I would have taken our subsequent class A on it. I can't imagine that it has improved enough t make it a pleasent drive.

Several years ago, while riding that section of road on my motorcycle, I came ac ross a couple with their motorcycle pulled over to the side of the road. The passenger had gotten motion sickness from riding that piece of Hwy-1. It is extremely twisty with multiple very tight turns, totally unsuitable for any large vehicle or trailer.

Don't do it. You would be very sorry.

We were recently there and the plan was to take this route. Once we were in the area with toad unhooked, we cruised around and very quickly decided to not do it! Didn't seem worth it with the stress it would add. Talked to a few folk who echo'ed our decision saying they will not do it again with their much smaller rv than ours. We hung out in the area, just off Hwy101, and took our toad throughout the area and had a great time as we based out of a few areas between Crescent City and Bodega Bay. What a beautiful area, and I want to go back as we speak. Enjoy...

Recently drove to Ft Bragg with our 2017 Dutch Star 4369. Just understand it is an extremely twisty 2lane road. You must share the road with large double tanker trucks, both directions. Told wife, after traveling both, never again. One of the most miserable roads I have ever been on. Much worse than road from Redding to coast.

We did it once years ago towing a 26' travel trailer. NEVER AGAIN! Narrow, windy scary road.

I'm a local. IMHO: Nothing scary on that road.
I've followed a lot of RV's and commercial rigs.
Just go slow... stay in your lane... and use turnouts.

For a bigger RV... now this is a scary road. (Salmon River... California).
