Hwy 101 from Crescent City CA around to Olympia WA

I plan to travel HWY 101 from Crescent City, CA around to Olympia, WA from mid June to about the first of August , 45' LADP towing, are there any known road issues along this route that could be a problem. Any comments appreciated. I have reservations made at various CG for this trip. Thanks

We traveled this route southbound in 2016 with a 36' and tow. Some curves I was glad there was no one else coming around as I was across the yellow line. Can't remember exactly where but justgo slow. Beautiful views for sure

It's a very good highway and many RVers drive it. No issues.

There's no reason to cross the yellow line!!!

A couple of bridges and tunnels where you just have to be careful.

Going North, bear in mind that in order to pull off into an ocean-side viewpoint that you'll be crossing traffic, and then re-crossing traffic to resume going North. it can be pretty busy in the summer months on Highway 101.

If you can, when you stop for the night, stay an extra day, and use the TOAD for travelling up and down the coast in that area, in order to see the beauty of the coast highway in Oregon and Washington.

A very nice drive.

Travels this last October wi 30ft and towing, no issues. Take your time and enjoy the views as a driver you won’t get to really appreciate most of it unless you use the TOAD as others have stated.

Agree fully with TwoGypsies! We travel this route often and never had issues...other than where to stop next because it's so beautiful! We are 40' plus toad. Only thing better is traveling southbound, as has been noted, due to the pullout access on the ocean side. Best advice is take your time and use your toad often. There are so many places and things to see, and a toad is much easier getting you there. Enjoy your trip! Maybe we'll see you along the way...

In between Yachats and Florence, especially by the sea lion caves.

Yes there is, that is why semis are not allowed south of yachats.
